1. How long have YOU been dolling?
Since 2003/2004, thanks to Megilhirile who introduced me to dolling.

2. You have to like something about it; what is it? [Why] do you enjoy dolling?
Well, I'm a photoshop junkie, and dolling is just fun. I especially enjoy making character dolls. And I like that there is a community out there when you need some cc.

3. What do you HATE [about] dolling, eh? You know, clothes, hair...
It depends on the doll, but not any one over all aspect. Maybe those uber skinny unproportional bases with the giant heads... it's like there are just staring at me. Creepy.

4. Your favorite part of your dolls, usually is:
The hair most often, but occassionally an article of clothing. But ultimately I like how the peice comes together overall, assuming it does come to together in the first place. I try.

5. What do you put the most effort into: clothes/hair/stuff..or base editing?
It's about the same across the board.

6. Bases are a staple of the dolling community. Do you like using them, or do you prefer to go baseless? I prefer to work with bases, I find I can't get folds right without a subject to put them on. So when I can't find a base, I make one first.


7. Not all dollers are basemakers..are you?
On occassion. The only problem is that when I need a base, I make it for the specific doll I'm working on, which may or may not be a good thing.

8. Are you part of any dolling forums?
I used to be a member over at Eden Enchanted, but I've since joined Glam under the alias of Linriel. I'm a fan of MEDA but I haven't visited in ages.

9. This community can suck ass sometimes. List for us FOUR pet peeves when it comes to the doll community:

-There is sometimes a unfair bias towards pixel shading over tool shading. Dollers don't always consider tool shaded dolls to be dolls, or that tool shading is a cheap shortcut. Most untrue!
-Dollers need to respect their fellow dollers, simple Golden Rule stuff, it's not that hard and yet there are still people who don't seem to get it.
-Dollers who cannot take cc objectively or cannot give it objectively. Constructive critism should include what's good and what needs work so that you can improve. Isn't that everyone's goal?
-Gif Monsters... need I say more?

AND four things you like about the community:

-Good friends and compatriots who give:
-Objective critism when I need it, which is often.
-Enthusiam and a source of inspiration when my wellspring is seemingly dry.
-And pester me to make sure I don't disappear even though I might be bogged down with work... there's always room for dolling? No wait that's jello.

10. But there's awesome people here, too! List three of your favorite dollers.
The toughest question so far, because there are too many amazing dollers.
