Between the Stars

In which Jareth defies gravity and we all learn the little known fact that clouds in the Underground glitter. Not that any of us are surprised. As to what he’s doing up there, well I'll let you use your imagination. Now, about the rest of his outfit, yeah, you can imagine that too.

Personally, I keep picturing him with his hands in his jean pockets; though to be honest I have no idea why jeans popped into my head. After all he could be wearing the usual leggings, or the leather pants, or, well... on second thought that option might be a bit drafty.

Props go to *Pika-la-Cynique for inspiration. I am a GND addict, and if you haven't read them you really should. And speaking of Pika, now I'm picturing Jareth in those glittery karaoke pants -- disco ball in the sky Jareth. Oh dear.

You can blame, I mean thank, her for that one.

Also to *AsheRhyder who started the glorious insanity with Roomates. And to ~Lixxle whose fanfic has most definitely flavored my interpretation of the Labyrinth's inhabitants.

I started this during fall break 2010 and have been working on it on and off for almost a whole year. Mostly off, since master thesis studios are rather punishing. I have no idea how many hours total, but definitely a lot.
